Botanical Self-Healing
What is Botanical Self-Healing?
All animals have the innate ability to detect the medicinal compounds within plants. In the wild they seem to know exactly which plants, etc. they need and how to use them, as well as how much they need (i.e. the dosage) in order to combat issues like insect bites, worms, parasites, digestive problems, infections and even malaria. Botanical self-healing is the process of facilitating our ‘pet’ dogs to self-medicate from an array of therapeutic/medicinal plant compounds. Normally in the form of dried plants, leaves, flowers, roots, algae minerals, essential oils, hydrosols, fixed and macerated oils. They have the ability but not necessarily the opportunity due to domestication The botanical self-healing process offers a holistic approach to animal health. My role, as a practitioner in the process, is to hold space for your pet to embody their natural instincts. Botanicals are intuitively selected. There are no conscious decisions involved. |
